You need to turn on autoexport to SVG or PNG for image previews to work in Obsidian 0.13.2... even then only files that you have touched after this modification will show a preview in edit mode. In this version, I completely reworked how images are loaded when you recursively embed drawing into drawing into drawing. Files no longer include the SVGSnapshot. It was causing more problems than benefits. I'll be releasing this version after a couple of days of daily use / testing. If you use dark mode, I recommend these settings:
