To demonstrate to you the changes, let me bring up my demo vault. This includes some of the sketches that I've been working on over the last few weeks. [* ](https://youtu.be/qlLw-qLcAbs?t=0) The first thing I found was that while I was using my iPad to draw these sketches, the undo and redo function was painfully missing. Luckily, the Scholar Draw team built this functionality in the meantime, so now in this new release, these two buttons are included. I think that's great. [* ](https://youtu.be/qlLw-qLcAbs?t=5) Another issue I encountered was with exporting PNG images of my drawings; the base quality was not good enough. I added a setting under embed and export where users can now set the PNG export image scale to a preferred value, significantly increasing the resolution of your PNG exports. When you click 'Save as PNG to vault' and then check the image, it will now have much better quality as you increase the scale. [* ](https://youtu.be/qlLw-qLcAbs?t=28) Additionally, I implemented full-screen support, which, although not necessary on mobile devices, is quite handy on a desktop or laptop. By pushing this button, Excalidraw will come up full screen. [* ](https://youtu.be/qlLw-qLcAbs?t=66) The big change is how I'm managing links. I implemented a WYSIWYG setup, so now if I double-click on a link, you can see that all the other links remain unchanged while this one turns into its raw markdown content. After editing it, when I finish, it gets rendered again as a markdown preview. I can switch back, and instead of the lock icon, I now have a preview mode and a raw mode. These two modes still exist, but the previous locked mode is now much more intelligent. While there are still some rough edges, I hope you will have a fairly smooth experience using this. In this view, you can see lots of icons; I was working on my visual vocabulary over the last few weeks and drawing these icons. For instance, this light bulb icon includes a text element that is a hashtag. This new release now supports hashtags as well. If I control-click this, it opens a search for that tag, allowing me to look at my different drawings that have that tag associated. You can see in the drawings that there is a light bulb hashtag in the right corner, letting you add an image as a tag to your drawing.
